We care about keeping your information safe.

This page explains, in simple words, how we look after your information when you use SATs Companion or Mirodo.

🧠 Who we are

SATs Companion and Mirodo are made by Thinkbox Education.

We help children in school and at home practise topics, learn and see their progress.

💬 What we know about you

When your teacher, tutor or parent sets up your account, we learn things like:

• your name and class
  
• your scores and progress in tasks and quizzes
• how often you log in

🎯 Why we use it

We use your information to:

• show your teacher how you’re doing
  
• help you see what you’ve improved on
  
• make the work just right for you
• keep the site safe and working properly

👀 Who can see your information

• You – to track your own progress
• Your teacher or school – to help your learning
  
• Your parent or carer – if they have an account
• Our SATs Companion team – only to keep the system working and fix problems

We never sell your information or share it with people who shouldn’t see it.

🔐 Keeping it safe

We store your information securely in the UK and protect it with strong passwords and encryption. No one else can see your answers or scores.

🧾 Your rights

You (or your parent/teacher) can:

• ask to see your information
  
• ask us to change or delete it if something’s wrong
  
• ask us questions at data@satscompanion.com
  

⏳ How long we keep it

If your school or family stops using SATs Companion, we delete your information after a while (usually within 12 weeks after a trial or 3 years after a subscription ends).
